Expenses include:

• preoperative care
• surgeon's fee
• assistant surgeon's fee
• services of an anesthesiologist when necessary
• operating room charges
• recovery room care
• post-operative care

Expenses do not include:

• travel
• lodging
• meals

Most health insurance plans do not pay for the operative treatment of vitiligo. There are some rare exceptions. There are additional costs if hospitalization is necessary.
